The Yumzio Bistro, a restaurant in Greensburg PA.
David and I are always looking to try out new eateries. When we heard about the opening of Yumzio Bistro in Greensburg, we were excited to give it a try. It’s a fairly straightforward, simple establishment. Open for breakfast and lunch from 8 AM-3 PM Tuesday- Sunday ( closed Monday), Yumzio Bistro is casual, kid-friendly, and great for groups. In the warmer months there’s outdoor seating, and you don’t need a reservation. It’s perfect for a quick-stop, or a long, lazy lunch. All items can be made to-go, and they participate in Uber-eats! There’s none of the fuss with all of the fanfare of tasty dishes.
Yumzio Bistro serves up breakfast and lunch offerings that are both savory and sweet. And you won’t find any frozen dishes here! It’s all made from scratch, right there while you wait, and with a hometown feel. The service is quick, friendly, and customer-centric. They make any item customizable, and offer a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. A lot of their food and produce is local-bought, all natural, or organic. All the ingredients are fresh and so is the taste!
For breakfast, try one of the omelettes, with thick slices of bacon, and round it out with a delicious fruit smoothie! Prefer a protein shake? No problem, Yumzio Bistro has got you covered! The homemade scones and donuts are fit to serve a king, and the French toast? Ooo-la-lah! For lunch, they offer a variety of salads, sandwiches and wraps, along with soups made fresh daily. Take my advice and get the Turkey Cranberry- you won’t regret it.
Yumzio Bistro presents yummy food, at a good price, with a smile. It’s everything you want in a bistro, plus a cookie. We can’t wait to visit again soon. Go often, and go hungry.
